Rating- 4 out of 5: I rate this book a 4 out of five because it has a great story and a wonderful introduction to how fractions are equal parts of a whole fraction.  It shows and demonstrates how fractions can be divided up but that they are a greater part of a whole product.

Classroom Ideas/ Lesson Ideas –

This book can be used when introducing how fractions can be divided from a whole to equal parts. The story is a fun way of an introduction of fractions.  You can also make a connection to rhyming words as the story makes a connection with English language arts and rhyming words.

  1. I loved your book because I feel that fractions is one of the most important topics in the early years of students. By reading this book its an amazing way to introduce the topic. I loved your classroom idea because its very engaging and fun. You can even make a song out the story as well.
